Living abroad? Support the observation of 5 December from where you are

Many Gambians abroad want to help CRPD observe the presidential election on 5 December 2026. CRPD is forming a small team of 30 to 50 non partisan volunteers who work online, behind the scenes, so CRPD's observers in The Gambia can do their work well. Every member is vetted and trained before they start.

Applications close on Tuesday 10 November 2026. CRPD vets every application before the training starts.

This is not election observation

Election observers are accredited by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and watch the vote at a polling station in The Gambia. Members of the Diaspora support team are not observers. They never call themselves observers and never post or share CRPD's findings.

CRPD never announces results (IEC Code of Conduct for Election Observers, clause 14). Only CRPD's own statements speak for the mission.

Living in The Gambia? Apply to observe at a polling station instead.
