Stay with CRPD after polling day

You observed an election with CRPD, you gave to the observers, or you simply care about fair elections in The Gambia. Join CRPD’s members and friends and keep in touch: news when CRPD publishes something new, invitations to public events, and the Academy. Open to everyone at home and abroad, and non partisan.

Two ways to join

Member

You want to take part: come to CRPD’s public events, join the Academy’s activities, and hear first when CRPD needs volunteers.

Friend of CRPD

You want to follow CRPD’s work from wherever you are, and hear when CRPD publishes a statement, a report or new data.

There is no fee. Joining costs nothing.

Joining here is not membership of CRPD’s board or of any body that runs CRPD, and it does not make you a CRPD observer: observers apply and are vetted for each election on the volunteer page.

What CRPD offers members and friends

Only what CRPD already does. Nothing here is a promise of payment, a job or a place as an observer.
Updates by WhatsApp or email

A short message when CRPD publishes a statement, a report or new data, or opens a call for volunteers. You choose WhatsApp or email, and you can stop them at any time.

Invitations to public events

Such as the annual Gambia Electoral Studies Lecture and CRPD’s awards for election integrity. About the lecture · About the awards. CRPD invites members and friends when the dates are set.

Your certificate

Observed an election with CRPD? Your certificate of observation is on the observer alumni page. Fellows of the Academy’s data journalism fellowship receive a certificate from CRPD too.

The Academy

The annual lecture, small grants for student theses, the public thesis registry and the data journalism fellowship. Visit the Academy.

Non partisan, always

CRPD is an independent, non partisan research and policy organisation. Members and friends are not asked about their politics, and joining says nothing about how anyone votes. CRPD never shares its members’ and friends’ details with any party, candidate or anyone else, and never uses them for anything but the updates and invitations above.
